This post isn't as cute as my last one...but I thought it was pretty good, especially considering it was a hastily taken shot by a photography friend who was simply trying out a feature on my camera. I like it!

These are of the church where I teach preschool. I've noticed the glass windows before, but this time I noticed them from behind the lenses of my camera- they really are beautiful. I also liked what caught my eye at the altar; that one is a favorite.

Crosses are catching my attention...

Maybe because Easter has been on my mind...but I've been noticing crosses lately. They are going to be my *new* photography subject. I saw this really awesome cool one today at a church building in Lexington, SC. I *love* how the four stained glass pieces create a cross in the heights of the foyer...can't wait to see what I find this summer in Rome.

a TRUE taste of spring...

We went to pick strawberries this week...it was beautiful and clear, the fields were not busy, and the berries were fantastic! We had strawberry shortcake tonight...aaahhh, spring tastes great and summer can't get here fast enough for us...HEY LAUREN, I may have to try out your recipe!

My college roommate and sorority sister came to visit me this past weekend- we didn't think we had seen each other since my wedding in 1990!!! THAT is bad. We picked up where we left off 17 years ago and had quite a few laughs...it seems like only days instead of years. We took her downtown to get a glimpse of where the "rich and Charlestonian" live...we really DO live in a quaint and lovely city. These are a few of my favorites, mostly "tweaked" for color saturation.
